These WINSOR & NEWTON™ Winton Flat Hog Bristle Brushes are manufactured to the same specifications as the short flat brush but have longer bristles for enhanced spring and freer brush strokes.
The solid wood, long, green-painted handles have five coats of paint to give them protection and provide smooth handling characteristics. Winton bristle brushes are made from selected Chinese hog bristles which are inserted by hand into seamless, corrosion resistant ferrules. The natural curvature of the pig bristles produces a resilient brush which retains its shape even under heavy use, giving the artist more control and accuracy.
