UltraCast XT Epoxy Resin

UltraCast XT Epoxy Resin is a two-component, solvent-free synthetic epoxy resin. It produces a crystal clear and very hard surface as well as high heat resistance.

Thanks to its very long open working time, UltraCast XT is ideal for large-scale applications such as floors, kitchen worktops, large canvases etc. or sculptures and cast parts (up to 1000 cu.cm volume). You can colour it or just use it for coating or sealing.

UltraCast XT Epoxy Resin takes 7-10 days to achieve maximum hardness and temperature resistance. The addition of pigments (inks, powders and pastes) and other resin additives (Resi-BLAST, silicone, alcohol, etc.) reduces the temperature resistance, since these substances themselves have a lower temperature threshold. In this case it is recommended to apply a final thin layer of UltraCast XT on the pigmented layer in order to increase the heat resistance.
