Styrene Plates

Styrene Plates are thin white plastic plates for printing techniques and model making. This printing process is ideal for children, schoolchildren and anyone who wants to get to know the world of printing.

With this simple printing technique, the motif is carved into the fine styrene plates. The plate production is absolutely harmless because no sharp-edged tools are required. Printing with Styrene Plates is perfect for illustrating self-written stories, sketchbooks and diaries or creating simple printed images.

These Styrene Plates are sold in packs of 10 plates per size. They are white, 3mm thick.

Printing application: press the contours lightly into the plates using folding tools, modelling sticks, a blunt pen etc. Cut the edge of the picture with scissors. The rule of thumb applies to multicolour printing: the lighter colour is always printed first.

Apply paint with a paint roller and print the motif on paper. Clean by simply rubbing with a rag.

Please note: the number of prints is limited. After a few prints, the print loses its sharpness.
