Sennelier Painting Varnish
Sennelier Painting Varnish is available in different finishes in 1 litre bottles. These final varnishes are colourless and quick drying.
They can all be thinned with turpentine oil. Key features of the different Sennelier Painting Varnishes:
Gloss varnish:
synthetic resin basis
forms a tough but hard-to-peel film.
apply only on well-dried layers of paint
Satin matt varnish:
synthetic resin basis
satin-finish film
non-yellowing
very resistant
transparent reflection-free colour reproduction
hard to remove
Matt varnish:
synthetic resin base
very resistant film
if applying a single layer it is recommended to apply a first coat of diluted satin varnish, insulating varnish, retouching varnish or gloss varnish first
Extra-fine gloss varnish:
based on Dammar soft resin
gloss opaque film
apply to well-dried layers of paint
avoid applying in damp weather
also thinnable with petroleum essence
