Schmincke Transparent Gel 046 is solvent-free and ideal for increasing the flow of oil paints. It increases the transparency of the oil colours whilst reducing the viscosity.

The amount of Schmincke Transparent Gel 046 added determines the gloss and binder content of the colours. Mix the gel and pure colour, and dilute with turpentine substitute if necessary.

N.B. Schmincke Transparent Gel 046 is not suitable for underpainting. Clean tools immediately after use. Close the tube after use.
