The PROXXON THERMOCUT 12/E hand-held hot wire cutter has a stable frame with a pivotable fixing element at the top and an extendable lower wire fixing. The maximum total extension is 200mm, and the maximum work piece height is 150mm.
The cutting wire temperature is infinitely variable. With a little practice, you can achieve optimum cuts depending on the material density and thickness. Usually at medium temperatures and without too much pressure. Heat-up time 1 second. Complete with five deformable cutting wires 285 x 0.85mm that can be shaped by hand or tongs to manufacture any profile.
