Pentel ORENZ Propelling Pencils have an innovative mechanism for break-proof use. The sliding lead guide protects the lead from breaking, making it perfect for particularly fine drawings.

Product features of these Pentel® ORENZ Propelling Pencils at a glance:

  • 100% break-proof
  • comfortable and smooth writing
  • hardness: B
  • writing colour: grey
  • available in different barrel colours and line widths

Pentel ORENZ Propelling Pencil - instructions: before writing, press once until the lead guide is visible, then press a second time and place the lead gently on the paper until the protruding lead is no longer visible. The pencil can now be used.

TIP! When writing, make sure that the lead does not protrude from the lead guide. If the lead is pushed too far forward, it can break when writing.

The edge of the lead guide is rounded to enable smooth writing without scratching the paper. As the lead is used up during writing, the lead guide automatically slides back with the lead. The lead does NOT need to be advanced manually. When the lead guide has moved back completely, press ONCE ONLY to advance the lead again. If the lead guide slides back after being pressed once, the refill is too short. The short piece of refill can cause a refill jam. Please remove this lead.

Pentel ORENZ Propelling Pencil - to remove a short piece of lead if the lead has become too short, the lead guide suddenly retracts when writing. If this happens, please press until the short piece of lead comes out.

After writing, the lead guide should be fully retracted: press the push button and gently push the lead guide onto the paper. A fully retracted lead guide protects against damage and injury.
