Museum 45 Stretcher Bars are exhibition quality canvas and stretcher bars with a reliable, immensely strong, non-warping design. They are made of first-class laminated spruce wood.
The 9 mm tenon joint increases the stability and Museum 45 Stretcher Bars are also double laminated, which further reduces the tendency to warp or skew. Knotholes are avoided by frequent interlocking. Computer-aided special milling machines mill the typical stretcher frame profiles and produce precise mitres.
Museum 45 Stretcher Bars have a round, curved elevation of 10 mm, which ensures maximum distance between the canvas and the bar. This allows you to stretch the canvas in a gentle way. In addition, the painting surface stretched in this way no longer rests on the entire wooden strip, but only on the outermost edge. The risk of the fresh paint accidentally bleeding through and sticking to the wooden strip is thus reduced to a minimum.
