MUSEO® ALU Stretched Canvases have a solid wooden frame reinforced with aluminium for optimal stability. The ingenious and practical combination of aluminium and spruce wood gives the frames durability, stability and prevents warping.
The canvases are stretched with 390 gsm, 100% Belgian Claessens linen of the highest quality and prepared with 3 layers of universal primer. They are acid-free and suitable for painting with oil and acrylic, and also for screen printing. Each size is available in a 25 mm standard depth, or a 45 mm depth for a deep profile appearance.
These MUSEO® ALU Stretched Canvases are available in numerous sizes. Sizes 80 cm x 80 cm and above are reinforced with a spacer bar, or cross support depending on format. Sizes 100 cm x 160 cm and above are reinforced with a double cross for extra stability.
TIP! The aluminium stretcher frames can be easily retightened by tightening the small screws in the aluminium angles of the corners using the Allen key provided.
