This Kuretake Fude Pen Nihon-Date Kabura No.55 is a double ended brush pen with hard and soft brush tips, which make lettering, outlining and inking illustrations as simple as possible.
Fude pens are brush pens that were originally developed especially for Japanese calligraphy. But they can be used for much more: they are perfect for sketching and drawing, manga, hand lettering, brush lettering, bullet journalling and urban sketching.
The soft brush tip is more flexible than a normal tip, making it easier to create thick or thin strokes, while the hard brush tip is stiffer and allows for a greater degree of control.
