Jax Ink Shellac Ink is a shellac based pigmented ink with an outstanding price/performance ratio. It is suitable for calligraphy, pen and brush drawings, surface tints and brush washes, priming etc.
NB This ink is NOT suitable for fountain pens.
Jax Ink Shellac Ink has very good flow properties, does not drip and produces a sharp edge typeface. These inks can be used on smooth and rough drawing paper, board, handmade paper and Ingres paper, and they have very good adhesion on transparent paper and (fat-free) film material. Jax Ink Shellac Inks dry waterproof. The hues consist of unmixed pure pigments, are semi-transparent and can be mixed.
