ISABEY Isacolor Watercolour Brushes series 6521i are round brushes made of wavy synthetic fibres that perfectly imitate the properties of grey squirrel hair. They are suitable for detailed work, precise contours and perfect finishes.

This vegan alternative to brushes made from real natural hair is an innovative replacement without any loss of quality. The brushes are ideal for all watercolour techniques, extremely soft and flexible and offer a very high paint absorption capacity and durability.

Key details of ISABEY Isacolor Watercolour Brushes series 6521i at a glance:

  • fine point round brushes
  • extra-fine, soft imitation synthetic squirrel hair
  • with precise, dimensionally stable tips
  • very high colour absorption capacity
  • great flexibility
  • easy to wash out, therefore particularly durable
  • vegan
  • seamless, gold-coloured brass ferrule
  • short blue wooden handle

These brushes are instantly recognisable thanks to the Isabey trademark, an elegant gold ring around the handle, gold hot stamping and, of course, a loop to hang the brush up to dry. Hanging the brush upside down makes it easier for water to run off and preserves the fibres and ferrule over time. This extends the life of the brush. With its bevelled end, the brush becomes a 2-in-1 tool: the bevel is ideal for creating details, scratching the material, writing and signing.
