GLOREX Cabochon Round Glass Stones are specially made for cabochon techniques. They are ideal for fast, easy and inexpensive personal jewellery designs.
These GLOREX Cabochon Round Glass Stones can be incorporated into rings, pendants, earrings, keyrings etc. They can be used with any coloured template, photo or motif, together with the high-quality metal sockets, to create individual statement pieces.
To use these GLOREX Cabochon Round Glass Stones:
- Choose your desired motif and prepare scissors, brush, kitchen towel and glue
- Put a pea-sized blob of power glue on the smooth surface of the glass stone (rather too much than too little glue)
- Now place the cabochon with the adhesive side down on your desired motif. Circle the cabochon on the motif until the adhesive layer has completely distributed and then press the cabochon on the desired location a little tighter. (important: once you have placed the cabochon with the adhesive on the subject, do not lift it, move it only by circular movements)
- Push out the excess adhesive by pressing on the sides, and carefully remove this with a brush
- Let the cabochon dry thoroughly
- Once the glue has dried, carefully cut your motif with a pair of scissors, making sure to cut along the cabochon
- Now take the socket for your cabochon and put some glue in the middle. (N.B. use very little glue here)
- Put the cabochon in the socket and press it briefly. Your personal and individually designed piece of jewellery is finished.
