Gerstaecker Studio XL Canvases are 380 gsm, 100% cotton. They are primed with a low-absorbency universal primer. As the canvas is stapled to the back of the frame the artist can include the sides in their work. The frame is made from high quality wood from sustainable forests and is in one single piece, in contrast to other frames of this size which consist of 2 pieces glued together. This gives our Studio XL range complete solidity and optimal stability. Gerstaecker Studio XL Canvases can easily be hung without further framing due to the stability of the thicker sides.
