No.1 — Sketching Pad:
The paper in these Gerstaecker No.1 sketching pads is 90 gsm. It gives superb intensity to your pen, charcoal or sanguine sketches. Gerstaecker No.1 sketching pads are spiral bound on the short side. The paper is acid-free, ph neutral, has no optical brighteners and is treated in the pulp
No. 2 — Drawing Pad:
Gerstaecker No. 2 drawing paper pads are bound along the top edge. The paper is ideal for all dry techniques such as graphite pencil, charcoal, sanguine and pastel. The paper in these Gerstaecker No. 2 drawing paper pads is 125 gsm with a slightly grainy surface which makes it pleasant to use and full of character. It is manufactured without acid or optical brighteners and is treated in the pulp.
No. 3 — Watercolour Pad:
Gerstaecker No.3 watercolour paper pads are bound at the top edge. Gerstaecker No.3 watercolour paper is 200 gsm and is perfect for all wet media. It is fine-grained, acid-free, and surface and internally sized. It is off-white, with no optical brighteners. A superb adherence of pigments gives immense creative pleasure for all watercolour lovers. The fluidity of watercolour will be magnificently expressed.
No. 4 — Kraft Paper Pad:
Gerstaecker No. 4 Kraft paper is made from long natural fibres which are unbleached, giving this paper its characteristic colour. It is ideal for pastels and charcoal as the laid lines capture and hold the pigments.
The paper in the Gerstaecker No. 4 Kraft Pads is 90 gsm and is similar in appearance to Ingres paper. Artists appreciate the raw and rustic nature of the Kraft paper which does not detract from it being an excellent Fine Art support. This paper is strong and versatile so has a multitude of uses from drawing to packaging and printing.
No. 5 — Universal Recycled Pad:
Gerstaecker No. 5 universal recycled paper pads are ideal for pencil, pastel, charcoal, ink, markers, acrylic, gouache and 'light' watercolour.
The strong natural white colour of the paper in these Gerstaecker No. 5 universal recycled paper pads is achieved without chlorine treatment or optical brighteners. The paper is 160 gsm, acid-free and made from 100% recycled paper. Respect the environment without compromising the artistic quality of your paper!
