This Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frame pack contains 3 different sized canvases, ideal for beginners and advanced artists alike. The frames are covered with a durable cotton fabric of medium structure (380 gsm).
These Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frames are coated with an easily-absorbent universal primer, making them suitable for various painting techniques such as oil, acrylic, gouache, tempera etc. The stretchers are made of light but sturdy wood. The canvases in this Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frame pack measure 20 x 20 cm, 30 x 40 cm and 50 x 70 cm. The first 2 have a stretcher profile of 16 x 24 mm, and the 50 x 70 cm frame profile is 16 x 29 mm with a middle cross support for stabilisation.
These Gerstaecker Artist Junior Stretcher Frames offer excellent value for money. The canvas is stapled on the back. Wedges are supplied for later tensioning if required.
