The oval shaped foam head of the applicator brush is optimal for applying, smudging and blending in pastel painting. The soft sponge distributes the pastel colour with good coverage, enables precise application and colour gradients. The applicator is also able to absorb excess colour. The applicator sponge is made of soft rubicell latex so that the applicator can be easily washed out. An applicator is part of the basic equipment for every pastel painter.
