With the acrea marker from COPIC® you can draw and write on almost any surface — whether paper, glass, wood, stone, plastic, steel or fabric.
The pigmented water-based ink is non-toxic, odourless, does not bleed through and dries opaque, lightfast and waterproof.
The matte white body has a good grip and lies comfortably in your hand. The fine tip allows for perfect detailing. The line width varies depending on the pressure you apply and the surface you are working on. The ink flow is smooth — whether you draw dashing lines or set up even and streak-free colour areas.
The vibrant colour palette includes soft pastels, essential monochromes, metallics for a shiny touch and a bright snowy white — perfect for details & highlights. Each colour can be applied opaquely over any other colour.

This is how to ensure the smooth ink flow of the acrea marker by COPIC®!
Shake the marker well — with the cap on! — before each use. You can hear the mixing ball in the marker's barrel. Press the tip a few times on an item of paper and make a scribble, until the tip fills evenly with ink. After use, snap the cap on firmly — this prevents the ink from drying out.

You can also combine this marker with the COPIC® alcohol markers — whether classic, ciao or sketch marker. If you want to use them together, we recommend using the acrea marker after the alcohol markers.TIP! For example, first draw a picture with alcohol markers and then apply finishing touches with this marker after drying. As alcohol-based ink is transparent and acrea ink is opaque, you get exciting results. Conversely, you cannot work with alcohol markers on work set up with this marker — the alcohol ink would dissolve and discolour the acrea ink — even after drying.
And the name? It's a combination of aqua (water) and create - acrea!
