The Conté à Paris™ Sketching Pencil set consists of 6 high-quality pencils in a simple blister pack. These pencils are excellent for portraits and still life, but also for landscapes, nudes etc.

The pencils are ideal for amateur artists, students and professionals.

The pencils in the Conté à Paris™ Sketching Pencil set contain selected pigments that ensure high lightfastness and pure colours.They are sharpened on delivery but should be resharpened as necessary with a knife or blade and then the lead shaped with sandpaper or a scraper.

The Conté à Paris™ Sketching Pencil set contains 1 pencil each in:

  • pierre noir 2B - soft, indelible and matt
  • white - perfect for suggesting light or softening a nude
  • sepia - the colour evokes burnt umber
  • sanguine - often used for sketching the body
  • graphite 2B - particularly silky 3 mm lead
  • charcoal 2B - for a dry, dense, intense black
