Also check that it has not been sent to your Junk E-mail box as some email providers have very sensitive spam filters. We only deliver to the United Kingdom. Unfortunately we are no longer able to deliver to the Republic of Ireland. If you wish to place an order to be delivered outside the UK, please contact Gerstaecker, our head office in Germany, where the following conditions will apply :
- the minimum order value for deliveries is 150€
- the cost of delivery will be calculated by Gerstaecker dependent on each individual order and the country of delivery

Why have I been asked to supply an image of my I.D?
UK
law requires proof of age when purchasing restricted items including
solvents, spray paints and blades or cutting tools. To adhere to these
laws, when purchasing these items online you will be asked to provide
proof of age by means of a photo image of your identification documents
(drivers licence, passport, etc.) sent by email to our customer services
team.
This is required when purchasing:
Solvents (may only be sold to those of 18 years of older)
Spray cans (may only be sold to those of 16 years or older)
Cutting tools or blades (may only be sold to those of 18 years or older)
if a product requires I.D. verification upon purchase it will be indicated on the product page.
Please note, that if you have paid by a credit card in your name then we will not require additional identification. Paypal and debit card payments will need to provide alternative identification.
Once you are confirmed of legal age, we will retain this information in accordance with GDPR guidelines to allow us to verify future purchases of age restricted items. You may find our full Privacy Policy here.
Within 10 business days your order will arrive at your doorstep.

Don't worry, we are working on your order! As soon as the carrier picks up your order, you will receive a tracking e-mail.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Subject to condition 3.2, we will charge the following for standard delivery within the United Kingdom (all prices inclusive of VAT):
- free for orders of £75.00 or more;
- £4.95 for orders between £25.00 and £74.99;
- £6.95 for orders of £24.99 or less.
Brushes and 'small items' are indicated with a symbol on their individual product page.
If your order contains only products that are marked with this symbol your order will be assessed accordingly:
- FREE for brush and small item only orders of £34.95 or more
- £2.95 for brush and small item only orders of £34.94 or less
An additional delivery charge of £5 will be applied for Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland (BT), UK Offshore islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man (IM), Perth (PH), Inverness (IV), Krikwall (KW), Paisley (PA), Lerwick (ZE), Kilmarnock (KA), Outer Hebrides (HS), Isle of Wight (PO), Guernsey (GY) and Jersey (JE)). This is due to different policies operated by our carrier to deliver to these areas. In respect of such orders the total delivery costs will be notified to you prior to the dispatch and/or payment. During promotions such as "Free delivery weekend", the areas above will still be required to pay the additional charge of £5, unless otherwise stated.
You can see which products should be delivered on the packing slip that accompanies your order. To prevent damage, products are sometimes sent separately. It is therefore possible that another delivery is on its way to you. In this case, you'll see multiple parcels in your order-history.
Not on the packing list? Unfortunately those products were not available anymore.
The purchase amount of these unavailable products will then be refunded to your bank account within 14 days.
Cancelling an order
Please contact our customer service team using the contactform to cancel your order. Make sure to include the customer or order number in the message. We're only able to cancel your order for a short amount of time. When you're order has already been processed and/or shipped, it cannot be cancelled anymore. Please refer to our "return policy" if you'd like to return your order (partially).
Changing your order
Unfortunately, once you have placed your order, it cannot be changed.

Staff will locate the items you would like to collect and leave them behind the till for you to purchase upon arrival.
Pleas note stock can only be reserved for up to a maximum of 7 days.
Step 1: Click on "Your Basket", at the top right hand corner of the website.
If your basket is empty this will take you straight there. If you already have items in your basket, the summary box will drop down and you will need to click on "View Basket".
Step 2: In the "Quick Shop" box, enter the product code for the item you wish to add to your basket (e.g. "16300").
Adjust the quantity of items you wish to order as required, then click "Add to Cart".
Tip: If you wish to add multiple products in one click, separate the product codes with a comma followed by a space (e.g. 16300, 33801, 20225009...). Once the products have been added to you basket you can increase, or decrease the quanity of each item, and remove items as required.

How do I find a product I have seen in the catalogue?
Add them to your basket: If you already know what products you would like to order (with the 5 digit GreatArt product number), then click on "Your basket" and go to "View basket". Enter the product codes and quantities. This will automatically add the products to Your Basket. If it doesn't do this, please make sure you have allowed 'Pop-Ups' in your browser.
Find out more: If you want to find out more details about an item that you have seen in the catalogue then you can just type in the 5 or 8 digit catalogue number in the search box.
Note: if you are ordering from a sale or promotional brochure, please remove the number prefix before entering. i.e. 5-16300 would be entered as 16300.
Some products are very sensitive to damage. Therefore, it is important that they are sent in a pack of at least 3 or 5.
When the product has a minimum order quantity indicated, you can fill in this quantity in the red field "add to basket" (in the white box, where the 1 is standard).
If a product is not in stock, it cannot be placed in the shopping basket.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to re-deliver products that were out of stock when you placed your order.
However, you can choose "set a stock alert", so that you will receive an email as soon as it is back in stock.
You can use the return form for the written or digital notification. Filling out the form is not an obligation. To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient for you to send us your notice within the withdrawal period of 30 days, starting on the date of placing your order.
You may return any unused, unwanted and undamaged products, if notified to us by phone, fax or email within 60 days of receipt of the goods - and be refunded. Goods are returned at the cost of the buyer unless agreed with customer services prior to sending.
When you receive an order, please carefully examine all products upon delivery and report any damages with the courier. Where the products cannot be examined immediately please sign for the order as ‘unchecked’.
Please report any damages or defects reasonably discoverable on first examination within 3 days. Please send pictures and/or videos by email of damaged items. Provided we receive these notices, we will replace the missing or damaged products without further charge.
If we do not receive such notices within the stated time frame, we will be discharged from all liability (whether arising in negligence or otherwise).
We will be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, or any wilful damage, negligence, subjection to abnormal conditions, failure to follow GreatArt’s or manufacturer's instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration of the products without our approval, or any other act or omission on your part, your employees, agents or any third party.
Only return products when you have prior clearance from our Customer Service team at Alton. Please call the office on 0300 303 4224 for instructions.
You can return orders/items to the store. This will need prior clearance with our customer services team. Please make sure you have your delivery note upon drop off.
Refunds/Exchanges cannot be actioned by the store, your order will be handed to Customer Services to be actioned”

Using the promotional code
Fill your shopping basket as usual. When you are completely finished and your shopping basket opens, you have the opportunity to add a promotional code.
- After entering the code, click on the grey arrow to the right of the text box.
- The voucher will then be added to the shopping basket and the discount will be calculated.

Discount or promo codes cannot be applied to books, magazines, gift vouchers, items which are already discounted and products from the I LOVE ART range.
Standard delivery charges apply when purchasing online.
Gift vouchers can be purchased both online and in our store.
To redeem a gift voucher on our website, enter the code in the shopping basket: "enter voucher code". After entering the code, click on the grey arrow next to the text box.
If you buy a gift voucher online, you will receive it within a few minutes to the entered email address.

Residual value
Don't want to spend the voucher in one go? No problem at all. The residual value will automatically remain on the voucher, so that you can spread it over several purchases.
