Clairefontaine Coloured Pastelmat Pad No. 4 contains 12 sheets of 360gsm coloured card. Clairefontaine Pastelmat card has been specifically developed for pastel painting.

Each sheet in these Clairefontaine Coloured Pastelmat Pads is protected by an interleaf. The sheets are in four different colours: burgundy, sable, deep blue and light blue. Clairefontaine Pastelmat card is acid-free, lightfast and age resistant. This unique card combines velvet and pumice, the resulting finish means fixatives are not required. The fine grain allows for alterations without affecting the paper, and colours can easily be layered and precise details achieved. Even when dampened Clairefontaine Pastelmat card retains its unique properties.
