Clairefontaine Fontaine Cloud Texture Watercolour Paper offers an extremely pleasing watercolour surface but is also suitable for gouache, ink or acrylic.
Clairefontaine Fontaine Cloud Texture Watercolour Paper is 100% cotton, 300gsm, PH neutral and free from optical brighteners. It is manufactured on a cylinder machine but the purity of the water and cotton used to make the pulp, plus the quality and consistency of the glue coating (both in the pulp and on the surface) make this paper unique in its handmade-like finish. Using Clairefontaine Fontaine paper feels fantastic as it has a great capacity for absorption and resistance to wrinkling, plus colours are rendered well without losing their brightness. The excellent finish means retouching is also possible.
