Caran d'Ache Museum Watercolour Pencils
These Caran d'Ache Museum Watercolour Pencils are considered amongst the best watercolour pencils. The colours are subtle and full, with the maximum amount of pigment.
Measured according to the International Blue Wool Scale, most of the colours have excellent lightfastness. And some 25+ colours are mono-pigmented. That is, only one type of pigment has been used, which ensures that you can mix pure colours yourself.
Caran d'Ache Museum Watercolour Pencils are wonderfully soft, yet you can sharpen a sharp point on them without crumbling. You can draw very precisely with them, without having to apply much pressure and without significant powder formation.
The colours are 100% water-soluble, but you can also use them dry. And if you mist them you get real watercolours!
