On the Mi-Teintes® Velvet pastel paper by CANSON® you can both sketch and work very precisely and accurately in pastel, charcoal & chalk.
It has a velvety surface, on which pigment particles adhere even better than on standard Mi-Teintes® pastel paper. In fact, the adhesion is so good that you don't even need a fixative — and that benefits the purity and brightness of your colours!
It is also thicker and heavier — no less than 430 gsm. You can also work on it in wet techniques. This gives you even more possibilities.
