Herbin ink is ideal for drawing, calligraphy and writing. It is pH neutral and made from 100% natural dyes. It is ideal for use with a drawing pen, glass pen, fountain pen or brush.
The ribbon nibs feature a bevelled tip and reservoir for western calligraphy. Thanks to the sharpness of the slanting tips and the precision of the upstrokes, incomparable Gothic letters can be written with them. The ribbon tension nibs are coated with a protective layer of lacquer. It is highly recommended to remove these with soapy water before first use. Alternatively, the nibs can be held briefly in a flame and then directly dipped in cold water. The nib is then inserted into the nib holder.
The ribbon tension nibs have a reservoir that is filled with a brush. The reservoir can be easily removed for cleaning with soapy water.
