BOTZ PLUS® Glaze Application Gel can be applied over pottery glazes to enhance the beauty and extend the glaze effects. With this gel you can even reduce the firing range of earthenware glazes to 1150° C.

During the firing process, the application of BOTZ PLUS® Glaze Application Gel causes the glaze substances to mix in a new way and, depending on the thickness of the layer, changes the colours, structures and shine.

Application is very simple: before firing, apply one to three coats of Application Gel to the glaze with a brush and allow to dry. Traces of varying thicknesses produce particularly attractive results.

BOTZ PLUS® Glaze Application Gel is available in 200 ml and 800 ml pots.

Price per pot.

Botz Plus magnifies the effects particularly beautifully on Botz pottery glazes and significantly increases the appearance of the ceramics. When firing, the use of Botz Plus reconnects the components of the glaze and - depending on the layer thickness - changes the colors, structures and gloss. You can even lower the firing range of the earthenware glaze to 1150°C with Botz Plus, when the earthenware glaze is completely overglaze with Plus. The application is very simple: before firing, apply Botz Plus as the last layer to the glaze with a brush 1-3 times and let it dry. Variations through different layer thicknesses lead to particularly attractive results.

Caution: for reservoirs in the lower area, apply only thinly. Botz Plus can be applied evenly, the most beautiful effects can be achieved with irregularly applied layers. You can also stir Botz Plus through the glaze, however, then the typical cloud-like effects will not necessarily come about. If you use Botz Plus for earthenware pure, a beautifully opaque white color with small crystal secretions will arise. A beautiful crackle glaze with particularly silky surface shows Botz Plus applied pure on pottery clay, fired but at irdenware firing at approx. 1050°C.

Please note here that you must color BOTZ PLUS with ink after firing. Botz Plus also combines well with other BOTZ products and also with powder glazes of other manufacturers.
