This Blockx Extra-Fine Initiation Oil Paint Set contains 6 x 20ml tubes of paints made from only the best and purest pigments, giving the paints a lightfastness rating of 7-8 on the wool scale.

For the iron oxide, earth colours and black shades best linseed oil is used as a binder, and for all other pigments poppy oil is used because it does not yellow nor become brittle with age. These Blockx Extra-Fine Artists Oil Colours are expressive, consistent, brilliant and lightfast. The paints have a buttery consistency and are easy to mix on the canvas.
