ARTIDEE® TexWax Impregnation Fluid is a food-safe wax emulsion that you can use to coat textiles of all kinds. The fabrics are then dirt-repellent and wipeable. This offers you a wide range of possible uses.
Use TexWax to transform self-designed placemats, shopping bags, fabric shoes for babies or other decorative objects made of fabric into practical and durable eye-catchers.
Depending on the application technique of the ARTIDEE® TexWax Impregnation Fluid, the treated fabrics have different qualities after treatment. Water-repellent, i.e. hydrophobic or microporous and therefore breathable.

TIP! If TexWax is simply applied with a brush or sponge and then allowed to dry, a waxy protective film is formed which makes textiles dirt-repellent. Fabric parts treated in this way can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
TexWax is absorbed into the fibres by heat treatment after application using a hair dryer or iron and transforms the material into a reusable, breathable film. This can be moulded with the help of hand heat if it is to be placed over a container, for example - a decorative and reusable cling film. Textiles now become absorbent again.
