ARTIDEE | Silcobody Compound — 2 component
This ARTIDEE Silcobody Compound is a dermatologically-tolerated, mouldable fast 2-component casting compound that hardens in five minutes to form a hard-elastic female mould with high impression accuracy.
ARTIDEE Silcobody Compound is incorporated at a ratio of 1:1 and can be modelled on the object to be moulded, without prior treatment with a release agent. No moulding box is needed to make single or multi-part moulds. The freshly prepared moulding compound adheres to the dry material. The particular advantage for large-area moulds is that small quantities of immediately hardening material can be applied and processed, but the mixed silicone masses can then be reworked and assembled to form a complete mould.
Silcobody-Compound is excellent for body impressions and is also suitable for wall and ceiling reliefs because of its solid consistency. Smaller quantities can also be weighed and mixed, e.g. to mould baroque frame corners for restoration purposes or for small objects. The female mould can be used with all casting compounds, concrete casting compounds, plaster, resin and casting wax. Silcobody-Compound contains no harmful ingredients and is pH neutral.

- Elongation at break to ISO 37: 350%
- Tear propagation resistance to ASTM D 624B: > 12n/mm²
- Mould temperature resistance: 125°C
