Processing instructions:
Remove Colouraplast from the storage tin with a spoon and pour it into a metal, wire or cookie cutter mould. By selecting and arranging the coloured granules, you determine how the disc or decorative piece will look later. The mould should not be covered with more than 4-5 mm of Colouraplast. It is then placed on the baking tray in the oven. Always work with an oven temperature of approx. 190°C or with smaller ovens, e.g. a toast oven with top and bottom heat. As not all ovens heat to the same degree, you should then check whether this temperature setting is sufficient to melt the granules. If not, set the temperature a little higher or lower. Colouraplast starts to melt after 5 minutes in ovens with a small interior, and after 15-20 minutes in large ovens, so that the granules turn into a liquid plastic mass that forms an evenly smooth surface a short time later. You can watch the melting process through the oven door. When the disc has melted, switch the heating in the oven back to "O" and wait another 5 minutes or so. The first homemade decorative disc can be removed from the oven and then also from the mould just 5 minutes later. However, be careful when reaching into the oven, especially as the metal side panelling is still very warm in the oven (risk of burning!). As soon as the mould and the plastic material have cooled down a little, it is also easy to remove the mould. You can then use the mould again immediately to make the next part.
